摘要

Abstract

Bio-based polymers have shown significant advantages,such as wide sources,low prices,and environmental friendliness.In the past decade,they have gained greater application potential in respond to the dual carbon target.Herein,we reviewed the recent research and application progress of bio-based polymers,including starch,cellulose,lignin,natural heteropolysaccharides,and chitosan,with regard to their use as drilling fluid treatment agents at home and abroad.We also discussed the current issues and challenges faced in the application of various bio-based polymers,and presented the application prospects of bio-based polymers in drilling fluids.
