摘要

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effects of sodium mannosyl phosphate(M6P)on collagen production and skin wrinkle improvement.Both cell experiments and human efficacy evaluation experiments were applied in this case to evaluate the effects of M6P on the following functions:the proliferation activity of normal human dermal fibroblasts(NHDFs),the expression of collagen synthesis-related genes,the content of type I collagen,and skin wrinkle indicators in humans.As a result,the addition of M6P,at the concentration above 0.9 mg/L,significantly inhibited the growth of NHDFs cells.When the concentration of M6P was less than or equal to 0.9 mg/L,enhanced proliferation of NHDFs cells was observed,with the proliferation-promoting effect reaching the peak at M6P addition of 0.9 mg/L,at which point the relative content of type I collagen was the highest.In addition,M6P could up-regulate the expression of collagen synthesis-related genes(such as COL6A1,COL17A1,etc.)in NHDFs cells and significantly improve multiple indicators of skin tightness,elasticity,and eye corner wrinkles.In conclusion,M6P demonstrated effective promotion of collagen production,as well as reduction of skin wrinkles,providing a scientific basis for its application in the field of skin care.
