摘要

Abstract

The black soldier fly,as a unique biological resource,has attracted widespread attention due to its ability to feed on kitchen waste,animal manure,plant and animal remains,and sewage sludge,thereby mitigating environmental pollution through its distinctive bioconversion capabilities.It has also demonstrated great potential indegrading antibiotics and mycotoxins,accumulating heavy metals,inhibiting pathogenic microorganisms,and converting organic household waste and livestock manure.Notably,such bioconversion processes do not occur alone.Instead,they are significantly influenced by the intestinal microbial communities of the larvae as well as various environmental factors.In this review,we first summarized the structural characteristics of gut microbiota in black soldier fly larvae and various factors that shape these microbial communities.Then,we presented the patterns of heavy metal accumulation in black soldier fly larvae under different environmental conditions,and described the impact on the degradation of antibiotics and mycotoxins.Additionally,we discussed the influence of environmental variables on the larvae's inhibition of effects on pathogenic bacteria.This review aims to provide a scientific basis and practical reference for the application of black soldier flies in the bioconversion of environmental pollutants.
