Optimization of liquid fermentation medium and fermentation conditions for promoting the production of mycelial protein of Neurospora intermedia OK by response surface methodology

Abstract
To obtain the mycelial protein of Neurospora intermedia OK rapidly and efficiently,we optimized the corresponding medium composition and culture conditions for liquid fermentation through single-factor experiments and response surface methodology.As a result,the optimal medium components for mycelial protein were composed of sucrose(34 g/L),yeast extract(5 g/L),MgSO4(1.5 g/L),and vitamin B2(0.1 g/L).The optimal fermentation conditions were initial fermentation at pH 6,fermentation time for 5 days,fermentation temperature at 28℃,and fermentation rotation speed at 180 r/min.Through the improvement in this study,the mycelial protein yield could reach 3.64 g/L,which was 230.91%higher than the protein yield from the original basic medium.关键词
