Developmental trajectory and influencing factors of sleep quality in patients with posterior circulation ischemia

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the developmental trajectory of sleep quality in patients with posterior circulation ischemia and its influencing factors.Methods:A total of 200 patients with posterior circulation ischemia treated in our hospital from October 2022 to July 2024 were selected.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to assess sleep quality at initial treatment,3 days,7 days,and 14 days after treatment.A growth mixture model was employed to identify and to name latent classes,and multivariate Logistic regression analysis was conducted to explore influencing factors of these latent classes.Results:The sleep quality trajectories of the 200 patients with posterior circulation ischemia were categorized into three latent classes:low sleep quality(56 cases,28.0%),improved sleep quality(106 cases,53.0%),and high sleep quality(38 cases,19.0%).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis revealed that carotid plaque,anxiety level,depression level,body image,and neurological function were influencing factors of the latent classes of sleep quality trajectories in these patients(P<0.05).Conclusions:The sleep quality trajectories of patients with posterior circulation ischemia exhibit population heterogeneity and are influenced by factors such as carotid plaque,anxiety level,depression level,body image,and neurological function.This suggests that healthcare providers can develop personalized care plans based on these influencing factors to improve patients' sleep quality.关键词
