Abstract
Objective:To clarify the concept of the help-seeking behavior for cancer symptoms.Methods:The databases of CNKI,Wan Fang Data,SinoMed,VIP,PubMed,Web of Science,CINAHL,MedLine were systematically searched,the search time was to July 27,2024.Rodgers evolutionary method of concept analysis was used for literature review and analysis.Results:A total of 67 articles were retrieved.Totally 4 attributes were identified,including symptom centered,symptom disclosure,behavioral decision-making process and planned behavior.Antecedents contained facilitators including physical,psychological,and sociocultural factors and barriers including sociopsychological factors.Consequences included positive aspect(early medical treatment,improved quality of life)and passive aspect(delayed medical treatment,missing optimal treatment).Conclusions:Future researchers can construct the help-seeking behavior for cancer symptoms intervention program combined with the theory of behavior change according to the psychological,physical and sociocultural characteristics of different cancer patients in China,so as to promote patients to actively seek help and improve disease prognosis.关键词
