Abstract
By using the melt blending extrusion method,block copolymer polypropylene(PP)and linear low-density polyethylene(LLDPE)with different melt flow rate were employed as raw materials to prepare multiphase PP alloys.The effects of LLDPE content and molecular weight on the microstructure and properties of the multiphase PP alloys were investigated,and the formulation design of high-performance multiphase PP alloys was studied.The experimental results indicate when the addition of PE-1 is 20%(w),the multiphase alloy PP exhibits the lowest molding shrinkage and the highest gloss,with molding shrinkage in flow direction at 0.54%,molding shrinkage in transverse direction at 0.76%,a gloss level as high as 95.3%,and excellent toughness.Furthermore,by incorporating a certain proportion of PP fiber-grade material into the above formulation,the rigidity of the multiphase alloy PP is significantly improved.Among them,multiphase alloys M and N demonstrate the best balance of rigidity and toughness,along with the lowest shrinkage.Their flexural modulus exceeds 910 MPa.The room-temperature impact strength is higher than 9.3 kJ/m2,shrinkage in flow direction is as low as 0.52%,and molding shrinkage in traverse is below 0.72%.关键词
