Research progress of carbon fiber and manufacturing technologies for its composites based on automotive lightweight
摘要
Abstract
Current advancements in carbon fiber manufacturing technologies were introduced.The research progresses on carbon fiber-reinforced polymer(CFRP)composites in automotive lightweight were systematically reviewed.The innovative approaches for manufacturing processes of CFRP,technical pathways for cost reduction&performance enhancement,and high-efficiency molding techniques were identified.Both energy consumption and costs on carbon fiber production have been reduced significantly through such novel processes as large-tow technology,low-cost precursor development,microwave heating and plasma-assisted stabilization.By optimizing resin flow dynamics,rapid curing systems and automated production,the CFRP molding technologies,including high-pressure resin transfer molding and prepreg compression molding processes have made breakthroughs in component structure and curing time,thereby enhancing manufacturing efficiency and material utilization.关键词
