摘要

Abstract

Current advancements in carbon fiber manufacturing technologies were introduced.The research progresses on carbon fiber-reinforced polymer(CFRP)composites in automotive lightweight were systematically reviewed.The innovative approaches for manufacturing processes of CFRP,technical pathways for cost reduction&performance enhancement,and high-efficiency molding techniques were identified.Both energy consumption and costs on carbon fiber production have been reduced significantly through such novel processes as large-tow technology,low-cost precursor development,microwave heating and plasma-assisted stabilization.By optimizing resin flow dynamics,rapid curing systems and automated production,the CFRP molding technologies,including high-pressure resin transfer molding and prepreg compression molding processes have made breakthroughs in component structure and curing time,thereby enhancing manufacturing efficiency and material utilization.
