Abstract
The carbon market is a crucial market-oriented tool for greenhouse gas emission reduction.Recently,the state has issued the Opinions on Promoting Green and Low-Carbon Transition and Strengthening the Construction of the National Carbon Market,marking that China's carbon market construction has entered a new phase.This paper analyzes the highlights of the Opinions and looks ahead to the future development trend of the carbon market.It argues that petrochemical enterprises will face a series of challenges after being included in the carbon market,such as great difficulties in carbon emission data accounting,high carbon emission reduction costs,bottlenecks in carbon emission reduction technologies,and insufficient carbon management capabilities.Corresponding suggestions are also put forward for petrochemical enterprises to participate in the carbon market.关键词
