Abstract

Deformation pressure,which is the contact pressure generated from the co-deformation of the support and surrounding rock,is closely related to the stiffness of the support structure.To clarify the relationship between support stiffness and deformation pressure,the statistical regression method was used to analyze the field-measured data of deformation pressure in deep-buried tunnels and to investigate the influence of support stiffness on deformation pressure.In addition,a multi-factor analysis method was adopted to explore a calculation method for the deformation pressure of general deep-buried tunnels,considering factors including support stiffness.The research showed that support stiffness was related to the tunnel span,cross-section shape,elastic modulus of the support structure,and its thickness.Under the premise that the variation in the cross-section shape of the tunnels corresponding to the measured deformation pressure data was not significant,the bending stiffness of the shotcrete(including steel frames)section could be used to characterize the support stiffness.Deformation pressure was positively correlated with the bending stiffness of the shotcrete(including steel frames)section,the surrounding rock grade,and the tunnel span.The highest correlation coefficient for the deformation pressure formula was achieved using exponential functions for the section bending stiffness and surrounding rock grade,and a linear function for the tunnel span.The surrounding rock deformation pressure value calculated by the proposed formula was lower than that calculated by the loosening pressure formula in the current tunnel code.Based on the characteristics of the deformation pressure sample data,the established calculation method for deformation pressure was primarily applicable to deep-buried double-track tunnels under general surrounding rock conditions,with a tunnel span of 12.0 m to 15.2 m and a bending stiffness of the shotcrete(including steel frames)section ranging from(0.02-5.00)×107 N·m2.The research findings can provide a reference for further study on the deformation pressure of surrounding rock in deep-buried tunnels.
