Identification Method for Track Slab Voids Based on Impact Acoustic Response

Abstract
Track slab voids directly affect the service performance of ballastless tracks.Accurately and efficiently detecting the extent of such voids is an urgent challenge in ballastless track maintenance and repair.A numerical simulation model of the impact acoustic response of track slabs with voids was established.The wavelet packet energy and cross-correlation function characteristics of the acoustic response signals were analyzed,and a cross-correlation function amplitude-band energy index was constructed to serve as an identification indicator for void identification.An identification method based on point-by-point impact acoustic response characteristics was proposed,and its noise immunity was analyzed.The calculation results showed that the Band 2 energy of the acoustic response signal at the void center was approximately four times that of a non-void point.As the relative distance between the measurement point and the void center increased,the cross-correlation coefficient tended to increase,while the Band 2 energy tended to decrease.The constructed cross-correlation function amplitude-band energy index exhibited high noise immunity,maintaining good identification accuracy even under a noise level of 40 dB.Research shows that the acoustic response signals of voided track slabs under transient excitation exhibit significant characteristics.A grid-based,point-by-point scanning detection method based on impact acoustic response can accurately identify the extent of voids.关键词
