摘要

Abstract

To ensure the safety of the lining in high-speed railway tunnels operating in complex environments,a study was conducted involving the statistical analysis of cavity detection data for the lining of 19 high-speed railway tunnel sections made of plain concrete.The distribution patterns of cavities in the plain concrete sections of the lining were analyzed.Subsequently,a tunnel model incorporating cavities behind the lining was constructed using the finite element software Abaqus.The study investigated the impact of cavities on the safety of the lining in high-speed railway tunnels,and the results indicated the following:(1)vault cavities in the plain concrete sections of high-speed railway tunnels accounted for 82.1%of the cavities in those sections.Vault cavities were predominantly of Type I,with Type Ⅱ being predominant in other areas.(2)When cavities with a radius of 0.6 m were located at distances of 0.25 m and 1.90 m from the lining surface,the structural displacement of the plain concrete sections of high-speed railway tunnels was within 2 mm.Cavities were difficult to detect through structural deformation during construction.(3)Lining cavities led to a reduction in the structural safety factor.Vault cavities had a greater impact on the structural safety factor than other locations,and Type Ⅱ cavities had a greater impact than Type Ⅰcavities.(4)With an increase in cavity radius,the minimum structural safety factor gradually decreased,resulting in a gradual reduction in the safety of high-speed railway tunnels.As railway tunnel cavities were located further from the lining,the structural safety factor gradually increased,enhancing the safety of the tunnel lining structure.The findings of this study can serve as a reference for the safe operation of high-speed railway tunnels in challenging environments.
