Abstract
Objective:To investigate and analyze the current situation and influencing factors of the clinical first aid ability of junior nurses in the cardiovascular department of Shandong Province,so as to provide basis for targeted training.Methods:A multistage cluster sampling method was used to select 250 cardiovascular nurses with less than 5 years' experience in 10 secondary-level or higher general hospitals in Shandong province from September to October 2022.Questionnaires were used to investigate these nurses' clinical emergency response ability.Results:The total average score of clinical first aid ability for junior nurses in the cardiovascular department was 98.39±11.94.The highest average score per item was occupational traits,followed by communication and coordination ability,operational skills,and first aid ability.The theoretical knowledge reserve score was the lowest.Regression analysis showed that length of service,highest education level,professional title,training in emergency care,rotation to emergency department or intensive care unit,and opportunities to care for critically ill patients were the influencing factors of the clinical first aid ability of junior nurses in the cardiovascular department(P＜0.01).Conclusion:The clinical first aid ability of junior nurses in the cardiovascular department is at an intermediate level.Nursing managers should increase investment in training for clinical first aid ability of junior nurses in the cardiovascular department,formulate training plans in combination with related influencing factors of clinical first aid ability,improve their clinical first aid ability,so as to promote the professional ability enhancement of nursing talents in the department of cardiology.关键词
