Abstract
Hydrogen, with zero carbon emission and high calorific value,is regarded as one of the most promising energy sources for the future. The discovery of geological hydrogen reservoirs with high reserve and high content in geological bodies provides a new technical pathway for the acquisition and utilization of hydrogen energy. To enrich the theoretical system of geological hydrogen, this study reviews the main sources of hydrogen on the earth, clarifies the conceptual distinctions among natural hydrogen, geological hydrogen, white hydrogen and gold hydrogen, meanwhile geological hydrogen is systematically defined. It further summarizes the classification methods of geological hydrogen and explores the control mechanisms by which various geological factors influence the process of its enrichment and reservoir formation. The study concludes that the application of natural hydrogen, geological hydrogen, white hydrogen and gold hydrogen differs in scope, with geological hydrogen being a term primarily assigned from a geological research perspective and characterized by attributes of geological origin, geological occurrence and renewability. The classification methods of geological hydrogen are diverse and the relevant standards have yet to be unified. The mechanisms of sedimentation, structure, hydrology and microorganism each play distinct roles in the process of geological hydrogen enrichment and reservoir formation, while geological hydrogen reservoirs are formed through the coupling of these mechanisms. The research results provide a theoretical reference for the systematic definition of geological hydrogen, and for studies on its enrichment and reservoir formation.关键词
