中低压氢环境下橡胶O形圈密封性能仿真分析
Simulation analysis of rubber O-ring sealing performance in low and medium pressure hydrogen environments

Abstract
To investigate the changing patterns of rubber O-ring sealing performance parameters under multi-factor coupling,ABAQUS finite element software is used to establish a two-dimensional model of the flange sealing assembly under low-and-medium pressure hydrogen environments.Through comparison,it is found that the sealing performance parameters of the O-rings do not change significantly with the cross-section diameter under the pure hydrogen pressure of 0.5~2.0 MPa.When the pressure is increased to 5.0 MPa,the contact stress and Mises stress of the seals increase significantly under pure hydrogen environment.Further increasing the cross-section diameter leads to increased contact stress and decreased Mises stress,which in turn improves the sealing performance of the sealing system.The contact stress increases with increasing pressure and pre-compression rate,but the relationship between Mises stress and gas pressure and pre-compression rate is more complicated.When pressure is≤1.0 MPa,the peak Mises stress increases with increasing pre-compression,which is unfavorable for the sealing.At a pressure of 2.0 MPa,the peak Mises stress shows a decreasing then increasing trend with increasing pre-compression rate,indicating a minimum value of Mises stress.At 5.0 MPa,the peak stress decreases with increasing pre-compression rate,which can improve the sealing performance of the assembly.The hydrogen swelling effect of rubber O-rings is relatively small in low and medium pressure hydrogen environments.Change in the hydrogen blending ratio did not significantly affect the sealing performance parameters of the rubber O-rings when the cross-sectional diameter and the pre-compression ratio were fixed.The research results can provide an effective reference for the study of pure hydrogen or hydrogen-blended pipeline sealing systems.关键词
