Analysis of applicability of various types of compressors in hydrogen value chain
摘要
Abstract
Carbon removal and hydrogenation,as well as clean and efficient energy solutions,are the developing trends of energy technology.Hydrogen value chain is becoming increasingly mature,with numerous applications requiring hydrogen compression to meet diverse demands.Various types of compressors can be utilized for hydrogen compression,including mechanical and non-mechanical ones.Among these,mechanical compressors are widely applided in hydrogen compressor due to their well-established technology.This paper analyzes the characteristics and applications of mechanical compressors,offering selection recommendations tailored to different application scenarios.Through case studies,the selection process for hydrogen compressors is illustrated.Beyond meeting technical and process requirements,the selection of hydrogen compressors should also account for various non-technical factors.The conclusions of this study provide valuable reference for selecting hydrogen compressors across different application scenarios and highlight key development and research directions for various types of hydrogen compressors in the future.关键词
