Abstract

The non-uniform deformation of metal in the rolling process leads to the existence of residual stress in the strip,and the dis-tribution of residual stress is closely related to the shape of the strip.Therefore,in order to investigate the effect of rolling process pa-rameters on the residual stress distribution of copper alloy thin strip,a single pass cold rolling model of C70250 sheet with thickness of 2 mm was established based on ABAQUS.The results showed that the effect of reduction rate was the most significant,followed by roll-ing speed,and the width of sheet metal had the least effect.The average value of residual stress increased with reduction rate.The dis-tribution of residual stress was uneven under low reduction rates.When the reduction rate was 20%,the value of residual stress was small and the distribution uniformity was better.The residual stress was minimum and evenly distributed when the rolling speed was 300 mm/s.When rolling speed was too low,the deformation was sufficient,but the stress release degree was low.Too large rolling speed can easily lead to insufficient plastic deformation.When the plate width was 300 mm,the average residual stress of the plate was the lowest,and the distribution was more uniform.When the width of the plate was larger than or less than 300 mm,the value of the aver-age residual stress and the non-uniformity of the distribution of the plate increased with the increase of the width of the plate.
