Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of cervical cerclage combined with Progesterone Sustained-Release Vaginal Gel on preventing preterm birth in twin pregnant women with short cervix.Methods Sixty twin pregnant women with cervical length≤1.5 cm admitted to the Jining Third People's Hospital from June 2022 to August 2024 were retrospectively selected.According to different prevention regimens,they were divided into the combined group(n=30)and the cerclage group(n=30).The cerclage group was given cervical cerclage,and the combined group was given Progesterone Sustained-Release Vaginal Gel on the basis of the cerclage group.The pregnancy outcome,prolonged pregnancy time,delivery mode,neonatal condition and total incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results There were no significant differences in late abortion rate,total incidence of complications and fetal survival rate between the two groups(P>0.05).The proportion of gestational age≥37 weeks,natural labor rate,neonatal Apgar score at 1 minute after birth and birth weight in the combined group were higher than those in the cerclage group(P<0.05).The duration of pregnancy extension in the combined group was longer than that in the cerclage group,and the rate of transfer to the department of neonatology was lower than that in the cerclage group(P<0.05).Conclusion Cervical cerclage combined with Progesterone Sustained-Release Vaginal Gel is effective in twin pregnant women with short cervix,which can prolong the pregnancy time,improve the vaginal delivery rate and neonatal outcomes.关键词
