Traveling Wave Fault Location of Overhead Transmission Lines Based on Magnetic Characteristics and Extended Kalman Filter
摘要
Abstract
Aiming at the problem of poor fault distance measurement and location effect of overhead transmission lines,a non-contact fault location method is proposed.The magnetic resistance sensor installed under the phase conductor of the terminal tower of the transmission line is applied to measure the magnetic field generated by the fault current signal.The measurement data is processed by the extended Kalman filter,and the fault location is carried out by the traveling wave-based method.The magnetic field generated by the current signal and the methods for measuring it are analyzed.The extended Kalman filter and traveling wave method are introduced in detail.The simulation results established by using electro-magnetic transient program(EMTP)under different conditions are given to evaluate the proposed method robustness under different fault resistances,fault initiation angles,fault types and fault locations.The results show that the proposed method has robustness and accuracy.关键词
