摘要

Abstract

The drop sill based-bottom flow energy dissipator is a new type of bottom flow energy dissipation device.It features high energy dissipation efficiency and low atomization,and can effectively reduce hydraulic indicators of the stilling basin such as the near-bottom flow velocity and pulsating pressure.However,a single drop sill based-bottom flow energy dissipation device is insufficient to solve the complex hydraulic problems during large-flow flood discharge.To provide new solutions for flood discharge in projects with large unit width discharge and high water head,bottom flow energy dissipation is often combined with other energy dissipation methods in practical engineering.This paper sorts out new technologies including the combined high-low sill bottom flow energy dissipation method,drop sill sudden expansion energy dissipation method,flaring gate pier plus drop sill based-bottom flow energy dissipation method,and small flip angle plus drop sill based-bottom flow energy dissipation method,as well as their applications in practical engineering.The research re-sults can provide a reference for other large-flow flood discharge and energy dissipation projects.
