Abstract

In allusion to the problem of poor misalignment capability in certain directions and design difficulties of the wireless charging system(WCS)with the dual-coupled LCC-S topology,an improved dual-coupled LCC-S topology WCS is proposed.Based on the analysis of the WCS with dual-coupled LCC-S topology,the system is improved from three aspects of magnetic coupler structure,compensation topology and compensation parameter configuration.In the transmitter of the magnetic coupler,the compensation coil and transmitting coil arranged in a tian-shaped pattern is adopted,which can adapt to tolerance in various directions.An additional compensation capacitor is series-connected to the compensation coil branch in the compensation topology to improve the freedom of system design,and the compensation parameters are retuned accordingly.A prototype of improved WCS with dual-coupled LCC-S topology is designed and an experimental platform is built for the experimental verification.The results indicate that the improved system can maintain its rated output power within a horizontal misalignment range of 200 mm or a vertical misalignment range of 50 mm,demonstrating strong tolerance to misalignments in all directions.
