摘要
Abstract
This review paper delves into cognitive disengagement syndrome(CDS),also known as sluggish cognitive tempo(SCT),a condition characterized by developmentally inappropriate behaviors,attentional disengagement,and hypoactivity.It is an emerging field that accompanies attention deficit hyperactivity disorder research.Convergent evidence demonstrates that the CDS group exhibits unique impairment characteristics in mind wandering,academic problems,internalizing symptoms and sleep problems,which distinctly set it apart from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder,anxiety disorders,depression disorders,and other related disorders.The functional impairments of CDS may be associated with abnormalities in the dorsal attention network and default mode network.Increasing evidence suggests that cognitive disengagement syndrome is a standalone psychological disorder.Future research should not only clarify CDS as an independent disorder but also focus on the developmental course of CDS across the lifespan and explore the relationship between the overall structure of CDS and its subdimensions.Additionally,we can enhance the research methodology of CDS.关键词
