Environmental Regulation,Green Technology Innovation and Carbon Neutrality Performance
摘要
Abstract
Based on the panel data from 2010 to 2021 in China,the mediating effect model and the fixed effect model were used to explore the dynamic correlation between environmental regulation,green technology inno-vation and carbon neutrality performance.The results indicate that the impact of environmental regulation on carbon neutrality performance is initially suppressed and then promoted,and green technology innovation plays a partial mediating role between environmental regulation and carbon neutrality performance.Green technology innovation can improve carbon neutrality performance,and the western region has the best improvement effect.The rate of change in carbon neutrality performance affected by environmental regulations varies across different regions,with the eastern region experiencing the fastest rate of change,followed by the western region.Accordingly,measures such as accurately grasping the intensity of environmental regulation,formulating environmental regulation according to local conditions,and continuously deepening green technology innovation are proposed,to provide a reference for promoting sustainable economic and social development.关键词
