海外华商网络对中国跨国企业OFDI速度影响研究
Research on the Impact of Overseas Chinese Business Networks on the OFDI Speed of Chinese Multinational Enterprises

Abstract
Under the background of high-level opening up to the outside world,how to more quickly layout overseas investment has become an important strategic issue for enterprises to enhance their international competitiveness.Based on the data of China's A-share listed companies from 2008 to 2023,this paper empirically studied the impact of overseas Chinese business networks on the OFDI speed of Chinese multinational enterprises and its mechanism.The results are as below.Firstly,the overseas Chinese business network significantly promotes the OFDI speed of Chinese multinational enterprises and has a more significant promoting effect on the depth-based OFDI speed.Secondly,mechanism tests have found that reducing psychological distance is the key for overseas Chinese business networks to accelerate the OFDI speed of Chinese multinational enterprises.The higher the internationalization level of equity,the stronger the positive impact of the overseas Chinese business network on the speed of OFDI.After further differentiating the OFDI speed,the research found that overseas Chinese business networks improved the OFDI speed based on breadth and depth by shortening the psychological distance.Enhancing the internationalization level of equity is more conducive to strengthening the promoting effect of overseas Chinese business networks on the speed of OFDI based on breadth.Thirdly,the results of the heterogeneity test show that when the openness of the city where the enterprise is located is low or the investment host country is not a neighboring country,the impact of the overseas Chinese business network on the OFDI speed is more significant.This research not only provides new ideas for the study of the impact of OFDI speed of multinational enterprises,but also has important practical significance for deeply exploring the unique resource of overseas Chinese business networks under the dual circulation development pattern to promote business exchanges among countries.关键词
