中西文化碰撞下恽铁樵对中医的思考
Yun Tieqiao's Thoughts on Traditional Chinese Medicine under the Collision of Chinese and Western Cultures
摘要
Abstract
Among the many aspects of the collision between Chinese and Western cultures,Yun Tieqiao(恽铁樵)paid attention to the impact or influence on China from four aspects:positivism, material civilization, science logic, and natural evolution, and thought about Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)accordingly.Faced with the criticism of positivism,Yun Tieqiao defended the medical characteristics of qi transformation in TCM,pointing out that the principle of qi transformation was based on the four seasons of heaven, which were the common basis of Huang Di Nei Jing(《黄帝内经》The Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic)and Zhou Yi(《周易》The Book of Changes).Faced with the shortcomings of material civilization,Yun emphasized the value of Chinese spiritual civilization and believed that TCM was a way to maintain health, thus it was connected to the study of morality and mind.Huang Di Nei Jing and Zhou Yi were the most profound books that study life issues.Faced with the division of logic and systematic nature of disciplinary sciences,Yun believed that the approach to learning in TCM was"Tai Chi-like"—it was not a linear,step-by-step process.Instead,it required prolonged effort, leading to a sudden moment of enlightenment where everything became interconnected.Faced with the trend of natural evolution,Yun called for the reform and advancement of TCM using evolutionary theory and Zhou Yi.His thinking on TCM underscores the deep impact of Zhou Yi,providing valuable reference for how contemporary TCM can better leverage this classic in the process of preserving its essence while fostering innovation.关键词
