Abstract

The Huize lead-zinc deposit has achieved significant breakthroughs in exploration in recent years,but the source of its ore-forming materials remains highly controversial.This study provides new geochemical information for understanding the genesis of this deposit through isotopic analysis of dolomite(C-O)and sphalerite(S).To provide new geochenical information for understanding this deposit.Research results show that the hydrothermal dolomites have δ13C values ranging from-0.30‰~4.00‰ and δ18O values from 16.64‰~19.71‰,while the dolomites from the dolostone country rocks exhibit δ13C values between-0.56‰~4.08‰ and δ18O values between 16.52‰~21.70‰.Since the data points from both types fall within the field of marine carbonate and the area between marine carbonate and mantle on the δ13CPDB vs.δ18OSMOW composition diagram,they indicate that the mineralization of the Huize deposit was primarily influenced by the combined effects of mantle-derived magmas and marine carbonate rocks.The δ34S values of sphalerite range from 12.7‰ to 19.1‰,with a concentrated distribution between 14.0‰ and 17.0‰.These values are close to those of contemporaneous seawater sulfate,suggesting that the sulfur was primarily derived from seawater.
