Review of Exploration and Practice of Electric-carbon Coordination Theory and Technology

Abstract
China is currently accelerating the transformation from energy consumption dual control to carbon emission dual control.The deep low-carbon development of power system is a key link in China's energy transition,and power system is evolving from the traditional binary balance between safety and economy to a ternary balance among safety,economy,and low carbon.How to fully integrate the carbon reduction constraints and targets into the entire process of power system planning,operation,and construction is crucial for the high-quality transformation of the power system.This paper first proposes the definition and connotation of electric-carbon collaboration,summarizes and sorts out the two major issues and five key challenges faced by electric-carbon collaboration.Aiming to build a zero-carbon power system,the theory and technical system for electric-carbon collaboration covering 5 major fields and 70 key technologies has been constructed from five aspects:indirect carbon reduction benefit evaluation and methodology,integrated carbon assessment technology of power system,electric-carbon collaboration technology throughout the entire process of the power system,application of low-carbon,zero carbon,and negative carbon technologies to the power system,carbon assets development and carbon market technology of the power system.Finally,the current research status and practice in the field of electric-carbon collaboration are summarized,and the future development trends of key technology are discussed.关键词
