Dynamically Staged Commands Compensating based Fast LVRT Control for Inverter-interfaced Renewable Energy Sources Connecting to Weak Grids

Abstract
With the increasing proportion of inverter-interfaced renewable energy sources,many power grids in China exhibit weak characteristics.And there is a significant transient phase locking deviation(TPLD)in the low-voltage ride-through(LVRT),resulting in delayed response of active and reactive power for the inverter-interfaced renewable energy sources(IIRES).A dynamically commands compensating based fast LVRT control is proposed,including the novel idea of compensating route through LVRT control process.The mechanism of TPLD and segmented dynamic characteristics in weak grids are analyzed.And a high-order direct phase solver algorithm is introduced to quickly calculate the TPLD.Then the segmented dynamic compensation control is proposed.Compared with existing controls,the proposed method reduces the response time of LVRT to within 35 ms,increasing over 40%.And the fast fault recovery is achieved with no transient delay,improving the fault disturbance adaptability of the IIRES in weak grid scenarios.关键词
