Abstract

During the operation of the bearingless slice motor,once the suspension winding fails,the suspension performance will be greatly reduced,causing unnecessary loss.The existing fault-tolerant compensation scheme has been successful in reconstructing the current based on power optimization,but it neglects the impact of the reverse magnetic potential on the suspension force during the solution process.This oversight leads to an increase in the pulsation of the suspension force after fault tolerance,ultimately resulting in a decrease in overall suspension performance.In order to solve the shortcomings of the existing fault-tolerant solutions,this paper proposes a single-phase open fault-tolerant control method based on magnetic field modulation theory to offset the reverse magnetic potential during current reconstruction.According to the magnetic field modulation theory,when a single-phase open fault occurs in the winding,the reverse magnetic potential that cannot be offset due to the asymmetry of the three phases will be modulated by the forward magnetic potential that differs by one pole,resulting in suspension force pulsation.Therefore,this paper takes the principle of mutual cancellation of reversed magnetic vectors and constructs a reconstructed current that satisfies the mutual difference of two-phase vectors by 180° and the mutual difference of the remaining three-phase vectors by 120° to eliminate the reverse magnetic potential and generate a stable suspension force.This ensures that the suspension performance of the thin-film motor remains unchanged before and after fault tolerance.Finally,a fault-tolerance experiment was carried out on a six-phase single-winding thin-film motor with one pole pair to verify the correctness of the theory.
