Abstract
Objective To analyze the expression of PLOD2 and Numb proteins in rectal cancer tissues and their relationship with microvessel density(MVD).Methods A total of 60 patients with rectal cancer who were treated in our hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected.The expression of PLOD2 and Numb proteins in rectal cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues was detected,and the MVD was calculated.The expression of PLOD2 and Numb proteins,the clinicopathological parameters of rectal cancer and the MVD value were compared.The Spearman correlation test was used to analyze the correlation between the expression of PLOD2 and Numb proteins and MVD.Results The positive expression rate of PLOD2 protein was higher in rectal cancer tissues(χ2=20.885,P<0.05).The positive expression rate of Numb protein was lower in rectal cancer tissues(χ2=21.313,P<0.05).The MVD value of rectal cancer tissues was higher than that of adjacent tissues(P<0.05).The expression of PLOD2 protein was related to the infiltration depth,TNM stage and lymph node metastasis of rectal cancer,and the positive expression rate of PLOD2 was high in patients with T3-4,stage Ⅲ+Ⅳ and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).The expression of Numb protein was related to the infiltration depth,TNM stage and lymph node metastasis of rectal cancer,and the positive expression rate of Numb protein was low in patients with T3-4,stage Ⅲ+Ⅳ and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).By Spearman correlation test,the expression of PLOD2 was positively correlated with the MVD value,and the expression of Numb was negatively correlated with the MVD value(P<0.05).Conclusion In rectal cancer,PLOD2 is highly expressed and positively correlated with MVD.Numb protein is lowly expressed and negatively corre-lated with MVD.Both regulate microvessel generation through different mechanisms and play an important role in the occurrence and development of rectal cancer.关键词
