The Conceptual Evolution,Semantic Transformation and Value Connotation of"Upholding the Party's Cultural Leadership"

Abstract
As an original and iconic concept of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture,"Upholding the Party's cultural leadership"has important theoretical and practical significance for hermeneutic analysis.From the perspective of conceptual change,corresponding to the four historical periods of the Communist Party of China(CPC),the formation of the proposition of"upholding the party's cultural leadership"has gone through four stages:debate and dissemination,establishment and maintenance,deepening and expansion,consolidation and promotion.In this process,its semantics have undergone profound changes.At the contextual level,the theme of the times continues to emerge,fully demonstrating the important position of cultural construction in the overall cause of the Party and the country;At the lexical level,the referent becomes increasingly precise and gradually approaches the core demands of the Party's leadership in promoting ideological and cultural work;At the pragmatic level,the discourse field continues to expand,achieving optimization in terms of target audience,discourse function,and implementation methods.As far as the value implication is concerned,this proposition summarizes the positive and negative experience of the CPC's cultural leadership construction over the past 100 years,and reveals the laws of the CPC's cultural leadership construction and the basic principles for further consolidation;Not only has it horizontally enriched and vertically deepened the content category and system structure of Marxist cultural leadership theory,but it has also surpassed the limitations of Western Marxist cultural leadership theory in terms of context and functional positioning,providing more scientific and systematic theoretical guidance for proletarian political parties to consolidate and develop their own cultural leadership.关键词
