A comparative analysis of the current research status of primary healthcare talent motivation between international and domestic perspectives

摘要

Abstract

Objective To compare the current international and domestic research on incentive strat-egies for primary healthcare talents,so as to provide basis for improving research on incentive strategies for primary healthcare talents in China and formulating effective incentive systems.Methods This study used CiteSpace soft-ware to sort out and compare the incentive research of international and domestic primary healthcare talents includ-ed in the Web of Science TM core collection and China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)until May 30,2024.Results There was a high similarity in the publication trends of WOS and CNKI in this research field,with China's centrality in the national cooperation network being 0.03.Satisfaction and performance evaluation were common high-frequency keywords in both Chinese and English literature.English keyword clusters,community health workers,capitation payment,and discrete choice experiment,are still evolving,while Chinese keyword clusters,factor analysis,motivation,and turnover intention are still evolving.Primary health care is a currently e-merging English keyword,while general practitioners,incentive measures,incentive strategies,comparative re-search,job performance,and economic incentives are currently emerging Chinese keywords.Conclusions Do-mestic research is influenced by national health policies and international experience,resulting in significant differ-ences in research objectives,methods,and content.Relevant research can be improved by participating in inter-national cooperation research in this field,focusing on improving the quality of primary healthcare talent services,learning effective research methods from international research,exploring effective economic incentive programs,and further clarifying the connotation of incentive mechanisms.
