摘要
Abstract
Bovine mastitis,a common disease in the livestock industry, refers to a class of inflammatory disorders of the mammary tissue in dairy cows caused by pathogenic microorganisms, physicochemical stimuli,or other insults. This disease significantly impacts milk production and quality, compromises the safety of dairy products, and incurs substantial economic losses.Although advancements in prevention/treatment technologies and improvements in rearing environments have been achieved in recent years, bovine mastitis remains a"bottleneck"issue challenging the dairy industry. With the deepening understanding of lymphatic vessel origins and functional roles, along with advances in related research, lymphatic systems have been shown to exhibit tissue-specific functions and novel structural-functional characteristics under various pathological conditions. The mammary gland contains an extensive lymphatic circulatory network responsible for fluid transport and immune defense.Emerging evidence indicates a critical association between lymphatic vessels and the pathogenesis of mastitis;however, the underlying pathophysiological and regulatory mechanisms remain poorly understood. This review synthesizes current domestic and international research to summarize the state-of-the-art knowledge on mammary lymphatic systems in bovine mastitis, including tissue-specific characteristics, pathological roles, and technological breakthroughs in lymphatic research.关键词
