Research Progress on Vaccines for Bovine Mastitis
摘要
Abstract
Mastitis is one of the most significant diseases in dairy cattle farming.The primary cause of bovine mastitis is inflammation of the mammary gland tissue due to pathogenic microorganisms.The most common pathogens causing mastitis in dairy cows include Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus,and Streptococcus spp.In practice,antibiotics are the main treatment option;however,the overuse of antibiotics has led to the emergence of antibiotic-resistant strains.The development and application of vaccines can effectively reduce the use of antimicrobial drugs.This paper reviews the research progress on vaccines for bovine mastitis that have been developed and tested in recent years,providing a reference for the development of more efficient and safer clinical vaccines.关键词
