Abstract

To preliminarily explore the effects of dietary supplementation with Cetobacterium products on the growth performance indicators,liver health and gut microbiota of pond cultured bighead carp(Aristichthys nobilis),bighead carp were randomly divided into control and Cetobacterium products supplemented treatments,and a 8-weeks trial was carried out.The results showed that dietary supplementation with 0.2 kg·t-1 Cetobacterium products significantly increased the carcass ratio of bighead carp,while significantly decreased the viscerosomatic,hepatosomatic and intestinosomatic indexes,and also significantly enhanced the activities of intestinal lipase and cellulose,and reduced hepatic lipid deposition.In addition,feeding Cetobacterium products significantly increased the abundance of beneficial bacteria at both phylum and genus levels in the gut,and altered the composition and structure of gut microbiota in bighead carp.Above results indicated that Cetobacterium products could improve the growth performance,enhance digestive enzyme activities,promote liver health,and optimize the gut microbiota structure of bighead carp.
