摘要

Abstract

To evaluate the safety of Galla chinensis granules in laying hens(target animals),3 groups Hailanbrown laying hens were fed by 1,3,or 5 times clinically recommended dose of Galla chinensis granu-les,and a blank control group was set up.The changes in production performance were recorded,egg quality,blood physiological and biochemical indexes were determined,organ indexes and intestinal permeability were measured,and histological changes were observed.The results showed that no abnormal changes oc-curred in the clinical conditions.Compared with the blank control group,there were no significant dif-ferences in weight,production performance,egg quality,blood physiological and biochemical indexes,and organ index,and no lesions were found in autopsy and tissue microstructure.Intestinal permeability tests revealed that the expressions of the CLDN1 in the jejunal epithelium and the OCLN in the ileal epi-thelium were significantly upregulated in the high dose group(P<0.05).Similarly,the medium dose group exhibite significant upregulation of CLDN1 and OCLN in the ileal epithelium(P<0.05).The results indicate that Galla chinensis granules are safe in the dose below 0.5 g/kg and can enhance the intestinal barrier.
