Abstract

Based on the influence of train vibration loads and groundwater on subway shield tunnel,a simulation device for testing the buoyancy of underground structure was designed.Simulation experiments were carried out to study the effect of vibration loads on the uplift of underground structures,comprehensively considering the effects of the water table and stratum factors.The results show that if the underground structure is subjected to both vibration loads and groundwater,the groundwater will be the main factor causing the change of the buoyancy on the underground structure,and the change of the water table will have a greater effect,while the vibration loads will aggravate the change magnitude of the buoyancy on the underground structure.Under vibration loads,the better the permeability of the formation at the same buried depth,the less time it takes for the pore water pressure of the formation to enter the stabilization stage.For every 10 cm rise of the water table,the pore water pressure in the sandy pebble,sandy soil,and soft clay strata increases by about 0.80,0.93,and 1.00 kPa,respectively,and the pore water pressure at the bottom of the underground structure also increases with the rise of the water table.After the vibration loads are applied,the maximum cumulative uplift values of the buoyancy test cylinders in the 3 strata increase by 1.88%,5.68%and 67.62%,respectively,compared with those before vibration,and the underground structure is uplifted by the buoyancy of the groundwater as well as by the rebound of the underlying soil layer.The impact of vibration loads and groundwater on the longitudinal deformation of underground structures should not be ignored,so it is recommended that the regular settlement monitoring of relevant underground structures should be conducted,and the monitoring frequency should be increased if necessary.
