中蔗9号在广西上思昌菱蔗区的表现及其推广建议
Performance and Promotion Potential of Sugarcane Variety Zhongzhe 9 in the Changling Cane Region of Shangsi County,Guangxi

Abstract
[Objective]With the advancement of the dual-carbon strategy and the increasing demand for high-quality development in the sugar industry in China,optimizing sugarcane varietal structure and promoting elite cultivars have become essential for improving the overall efficiency of sugarcane production.[Methods]Zhongzhe 9(ZZ9)is a newly developed mid-late maturing sugarcane variety with high sugar content and ultra-high yield,jointly bred by Guangxi University,Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University,and Chongzuo Academy of Agricultural Sciences.This variety was registered as a national non-major crop in 2020 and was listed in the Guangxi Autonomous Region's leading sugarcane variety catalog in 2025.Since 2018,field trials and demonstrations of ZZ9 have been continuously conducted in the Changling sugarcane region of Shangsi County.[Results]Multi-year results showed that under three plant-cane and two ratoon-cane cycles,the average cane yield of ZZ9 reached 125.26 t/hm2,which is 26.76 t/hm2(27.17%)higher than that of the control variety Guiliu 05-136(GL05-136).The mean sugar yield of ZZ9 reached 19.78 t/hm2,which increased by 2.95 t/hm2,representing a 17.53%improvement in yield.ZZ9 also surpassed GL05-136 in terms of plant height,stalk diameter,and the number of millable stalks per hectare.Across four milling seasons,the average juice gravity purity of both plant and ratoon crops was 82.83%,indicating a distinct advantage in sucrose accumulation during the mid-to-late growing stages.[Conclusion]ZZ9 demonstrates a strong ratooning ability and excellent drought tolerance.Overall,it shows significant advantages in yield,sugar content,and stress resistance,making it suitable for large-scale adoption in the hilly sugarcane-growing regions of Guangxi.关键词
