Research Progress on the Single Nucleotide Polymorphism Array in Pig Breeding
摘要
Abstract
Single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)chip technology is a technique that utilizes high-density integration of SNP molecular recognition probes closely related to poultry and livestock traits which can simultaneously type and analyze a large number of SNPs.In present day,it is widely used in Quantitative trait loci(QTL)mapping,genetic map construction,whole genome association analysis,auxiliary marker selection,population inheritance research and many other fields.Here,this article will focus on the recent progress in the production and application of SNP chips in pig breeding and founding candidate gene and SNP involved in some important economic trait in order to better promoting the application and the breeding of high-quality pig breeds and industrial development.关键词
