Clinical research progress on aromatase inhibitor treatment for pubertal boys with advanced bone age and short stature
摘要
Abstract
The height growth during childhood puberty is crucial for achieving adult final height.Pubertal boys with advanced bone age and short stature have limited growth potential and time due to their advanced bone age,which often results in an adult height that does not reach the ideal level.Therefore,early and effective therapeutic interventions are necessary.The efficacy of recombinant human growth hormone or gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogs alone in improving height in such boys remains unclear.In recent years,aromatase inhibitors have gained widespread attention in the clinical field as an effective therapeutic approach.This article provides a comprehensive review of clinical studies on the use of aromatase inhibitors in the treatment of pubertal boys with advanced bone age and short stature.It analyzes the mechanisms of action,clinical efficacy,physiological effects,and blood drug concentrations,offering valuable insights for the development of more effective,safe,and individualized treatment strategies.关键词
