Abstract
Myopia is a significant global public health issue,characterized by long-term,arduous,and complex prevention and control efforts.China has a large myopic population,vast territory,and uneven distribution of medical resources,urgently necessitating an integrated comprehensive prevention and control guideline that can fully leverage the respective advantages of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)and Western Medicine,cover the entire process of myopia prevention and control,and be widely promoted and applied.Adhering to the principle of"evidence-based primarily,consensus supplementary,experience for reference",these guidelines aim to formulate prevention and control strategies at the public health level targeting the links in the onset and progression of myopia.By applying advantageous TCM and Western Medicine therapies under the guidance of TCM theory,the guidelines seek to form a safe,effective,simple,economical,standardized,and promotable integrated TCM and Western Medicine comprehensive myopia prevention and control plan for children and adolescents.They are intended to guide the scientific and standardized implementation of comprehensive myopia prevention and control work,improve the technical capacity and efficiency of myopia prevention and control,and reduce the incidence,progression rate,and blindness rate of myopia.关键词
