WANG Donghong's Clinical Experience in Treating Floaters in Women of Reproduc-tive Age Using Auricular Acupoints
摘要
Abstract
Floaters are a common symptom among women of reproductive age,often caused by primary vitreous opacity,and can impose a significant psychological burden.The ear and the eyes are closely connected through meridians and Zangfu organs.Stimulating auricular acupoints can achieve the effects of tonifying kidney,soothing liver,regulating Qi dynamics,and activating blood circulation to resolve stasis,thereby alleviating symptoms such as shadows in the visual field and blurred vision in patients of reproductive age.WANG Donghong believes that the core pathogenesis of this condition is kidney deficiency and liver depression.She has established and skillfully employs a comprehensive five-step auricular therapy(including auricular massage,acupressure,acupuncture,helix body reinforcement,and seed pressing)to treat floaters in women of reproductive age,demonstrating significant clinical efficacy.This article summarizes her clinical experience,which includes treatment based on kidney and liver theory,emphasis on the role of the helix body governing the governor vessel,the combination of multiple techniques supplemented by humanistic care,aiming to provide safe and effective new ideas for clinical practice.关键词
