西门塔尔牛血细胞的形态观察
Morphological Observation of Blood Cells in Simmental Cattle

Abstract
In order to enrich the basic hematological data of Simmental cattle,40 healthy Simmental cattle(18 months old,half male and half female)were used in this study.Blood smears were prepared using the Wright-Giemsa staining method,and the morphology of blood cells was observed under the microscope and photographed.Motic Images Plus 2.0 ML software was used to measure the size of blood cells under the microscope,and the number of blood cells was counted manually.The above indicators were tested by gender difference independent sample t test.The results showed that the mature red blood cells of Simmental cattle were nearly round,concave in the middle and without nucleus.The immature red blood cells were round,and the nucleus was slightly biased to the side of the cell.Pear-shaped red blood cells were teardrop-like.The lymphocytes of Simmental cattle were nearly circular,and the nucleus was mostly biased towards the side of the cell;The cytoplasm of monocytes was not located in the center of the cell,and the shape was mostly kidney-shaped or irregular;Neutrophils were round,lightly stained,and multi-leaf nuclei were generally divided into 2~5 leaves,horseshoe-shaped;Eosinophils stained darker,and the nucleus was kidney-shaped;Basophils were nearly round,and a few were irregular.Colored blue-purple granules chould be observed in the cytoplasm,and the nuclear lobulation was not obvious.The number,long and short diameter of red blood cells in male Simmental cattle were significantly greater than those in female(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the number of white blood cells between male and female(P>0.05).The long and short diameter of female basophils were significantly larger than those of males(P<0.05).These results demonstrate significant sex-based dimorphism in both morphology and quantity of erythrocytes in Simmental cattle.Males exhibited greater erythrocyte count and size,suggesting potentially enhanced oxygen transport capacity.Conversely,females displayed significantly larger basophils and lymphocytes,implying potentially stronger immune reactivity.关键词
