Research Progress on Predicting Pork Carcass Quality Using Imaging Technologie
摘要
Abstract
Carcass trait measurement is a key process for evaluating the value and quality characteristics of slaughter animals.Under the demand for efficient management in modem animal husbandry,numerous carcass trait measurement technologies have emerged and gradually become a new direction for evaluating pig growth performance and meat quality traits.This paper reviews the latest advances in swine carcass measurement,focusing on studies related to pork quality attributes such as eating quality(intermuscular and intramuscular fat,meat and fat color)and carcass dimensions(skeletal structure,rib-eye area).On this basis,it systematically summarizes and discusses the most recent applications and developmental potential of X-ray,magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),computed tomography(CT),computer vision systems(CVS),and ultrasound(US)in porcine carcass-trait assessment.The application and optimization of the above technologies will realize the rapid evaluation and real-time grading of animal products in the future,so as to further improve the breeding efficiency and meat quality.关键词
