经外奇穴温针灸联合舒筋透骨汤熏洗治疗风寒湿痹证膝骨关节炎的临床研究
Clinical Study on Needle-Warming Moxibustion at Extra Acupoints Combined with Shujin Tougu Decoction Fumigation and Washing in Treatment of KOA with Wind-Cold-Dampness Bi Syndrome

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the efficacy and safety of needle-warming moxibustion at extra acupoints combined with Shujin Tougu Decoction fumigation and washing in treatment of knee osteoarthritis(KOA)with wind-cold-dampness Bi syndrome.Methods:A total of 120 KOA patients with wind-cold-dampness Bi syndrome,meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria,were randomly assigned into the control group(n=60)and the observation group(n=60).The control group was intervened by conventional rehabilitation exercise and Shujin Tougu Decoction fumigation and washing;on which basis,the observation group was also treated with needle-warming moxibustion at extra acupoints.After 4 consecutive weeks of treatment,clinical efficacy and safety were compared between the two groups.Results:The total clinical effective rate was 91.67％(55/60)in the observation group,which was significantly higher than 76.67％(46/60)in the control group(P＜0.05).After the treatment,both groups showed significant reductions in TCM symptom scores(joint swelling,morning stiffness,limited joint movement,soreness and weakness),WOMAC score,Lequesne score,VAS score,and serum inflammatory markers of CRP,IL-1β,and ESR(P＜0.05);the reductions were greater in the observation group compared with the control group(P＜0.01).No severe adverse reactions occurred in either group.Conclusion:Needle-warming moxibustion at extra acupoints combined with Shujin Tougu Decoction fumigation and washing demonstrates unique efficacy and advantages in treatment of KOA with wind-cold-dampness Bi syndrome.This therapy can further alleviate clinical symptoms,reduce inflammatory marker levels,and promote improvement of knee joint function,with a high degree of safety.关键词
