摘要

Abstract

The grid-controlled pulsed space travelling wave tube(STWT)is an important power amplification device in spaceborne synthetic aperture radar(SAR)system.The reliability research of grid-controlled pulsed STWT is carried out,including electron gun,high voltage insulation,high power heat dissipation and high power output.A feasible process technology scheme is built and the 1∶1 life test of the STWT is completed.The maxi-mum operating life of the STWT is up to 27 000 h,the maximum power change is 0.12 dB and the current change is less than 1%.The process technology has been successfully applied in a series of products in X/Ku/K/Ka band,and the maximum pulse power is up to 4000 W.
