Research on the Evolution of Arctic Strategic Themes Orientation in Various Countries Based on LDA2vec

Abstract
[Purpose/Significance]Analyzing the evolution of Arctic strategic thems orientation of various counties not only provides valuable insights into the current situation and future trends in the Arctic region,but also holds significant importance for China in understanding the changes in the Arctic and participating in Arctic affairs.[Method/Process]Drawing on Arctic policy documents issued by 17 countries and organizations from 2008 to 2023,this study utilizes the LDA2vec model for topic modeling,supplemented by qualitative analysis,to explore the historical trajectory and transformation of Arctic strategic policy themes.[Result/Conclusion]The study reveals that over a span of 16 years,the strategic perspectives of Arctic policies from various countries have gravitated towards a global outlook,with the concept of sustainable development being a consistent thread,exhibiting characteristics of leapfrog progress,interdisciplinary nature,and comprehensiveness.Policies addressing multi-dimensional security threats,represented by non-traditional security,have been continuously strengthened.Concurrently,international cooperation has emerged as a pivotal force in driving innovation in Arctic governance mechanisms,manifesting in the emergence of interdisciplinary cooperation frameworks and the reinforcement of multilateral governance patterns,leading to a steady enhancement in the transparency of Arctic strategies.In this context,China is poised to leverage its strategic wisdom,deepen its sustainable devel-opment strategy,enhance its participation in Arctic affairs,and strengthen its security capabilities in the Arctic region.关键词
