基于突出普遍价值对比分析的新疆重要申遗潜力区识别与确界
Identification and Delineation of the Important Potential Areas for World Natural Heritage Nomination in Xinjiang Autonomous Region Based on Comparative Analysis of Outstanding Universal Values

Abstract
Xinjiang is endowed with outstanding natural resources and has great potential in the nomination of World Heritage.In order to protect Xinjiang's natural heritage sites and achieve the sustainable development goals,this study applied the comparative analysis method following the criteria of outstanding universal value(OUV)of World natural heritage,and selected two important potential areas-the Altai Mountain and Taklimakan Desert-Tarim poplar forest of Xinjiang,from the Chinese World Natural Heritage tentative list.Based on comprehensive consideration of the integrity and feasibility for conservation and management,the OUV characteristics were identified and the spatial zoning and boundary of each potential area were determined.China's Altai Mountain World Natural Heritage potential area can be divided in three sections:Kanas-Baihaba Area,Keketuohai-Liangheyuan Area and Ulungu River-Burgen River Area;Taklimakan Desert-Tarim Poplar Forest World Natural Heritage potential area can be divided in two sections:Bosten Lake Area and Tata Poplar Forest Area.The study concludes that the two potential areas of World Natural Heritage have irreplaceable scientific value and aesthetic value,and are recommended to be a priority on the world heritage tentative list.关键词
