Impact of Staged Rehabilitation Nursing Based on the Transtheoretical Model on Self-Management Ability,Recurrence Rate,and Satisfaction Among Cerebral Infarction Patients

Abstract
Objective:To explore the impact of stage-based rehabilitation nursing guided by the Transtheoretical Model(TTM)on self-management ability,recurrence rate,and satisfaction in patients with cerebral infarction.Method:A total of 90 stroke patients admitted to the Department of Neurology at the First Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical College between June 2022 and July 2024 were enrolled.Patients were randomly divided into the control group(n=45)and the study group(n=45)using a random number table.The control group received routine nursing care,while the study group received stage-based rehabilitation nursing guided by the Transtheoretical Model.Both groups received interventions until discharge.The self-care ability(ESCA)score,adult health self-management skills rating scale(AHSMSRS)score,and nursing satisfaction score during hospitalization were assessed.Additionally,the recurrence rate of stroke was recorded during a 3-month follow-up after discharge.Result:After the intervention,both groups showed an improvement in self-care ability(ESCA)scores,with the study group performing better than the control group.Both groups showed an increase in the Rating Scale of Health Self-Management Skill for adults(AHSMSRS)scores,with the study group again scoring higher than the control group(P<0.05).At discharge,the nursing satisfaction score in the study group was higher than in the control group(P<0.05).After a 3-month follow-up,the recurrence rate in the study group was 2.22%,significantly lower than the 17.78%recurrence rate in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Stage-based rehabilitation nursing guided by the Transtheoretical Model not only enhances stroke patients'self-management ability but also significantly reduces the recurrence rate and increases patient satisfaction with nursing care.This approach provides a scientifically effective strategy for stroke patients'rehabilitation nursing.关键词
