槐杞黄颗粒联合肝动脉化疗栓塞术治疗原发性肝癌的疗效观察
The efficacy of Huaiqihuang granules combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization in treating primacy liver cancer and its impacts on liver function and vascular endothelial growth factor level in patients

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of Huaiqihuang granules combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)in treating primacy liver cancer(PLC)and its impacts on liver function and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)level in patients.Methods:From June 2022 to April 2024,96 patients with PLC accepted by our hospital were assigned into a TACE group(n=48,treated with TACE)and a research group(n=48,treated with TACE combined with Huaiqihuang granules)randomly.The short-term efficacy,Qi-Yin deficiency score,health status[evaluated using the Karnofsky Performance Status(KPS)],liver function indicators[alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),total bilirubin(TBil)],alpha fetoprotein(AFP),VEGF,and bad reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The objective remission rate of the research group was73.33%,which was higher than the 52.17%in the TACE group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of Qi-Yin deficiency syndrome,liver function indicators,AFP,and VEGF levels in both groups were lower than before treatment(P<0.05),and the research group was lower than the TACE group(P<0.05).After treatment,the KPS scores of both groups were higher than before treatment,and the research group was higher than the TACE group(P<0.05).The incidence of gastrointestinal reactions in the research group was 13.33%,which was lower than the 32.61%in the TACE group(P<0.05).There was no great difference in the incidence of fever,bone marrow suppression,and bleeding between the groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Huaiqihuang granules and TACE therapy can effectively reduce AFP and VEGF levels in PLC patients,greatly improve symptoms and liver function,greatly enhance short-term efficacy,and reduce the occurrence of gastrointestinal reactions.关键词
